What is the best DJ gear for a wedding? It depends on the size of the party and if it’s going to take place indoors or outdoors but to be honest all the wedding DJs in Cabo (at least the ones that I know) we all use similar equipments maybe different brands but at the end of the night it is the same sound quality. This is because now we all use digital music; it doesn’t matter if the CD players look like turntables
Like a club manager used to say back in the 90’s where I used to play. “What makes the difference is to know the right time to play the right song, and nobody can teach you that skill”
So if a wedding DJ is selling himself telling that he has the best sound system ever perhaps he lacks other important things because remember we all have the best equipment for your wedding. Cheers!

Making the right song list for you and your distinguished guests
I guess you already read that my goal is personalizing your event in base of your own preferences but how does it works?
Well, you can either tell me your favorite genres and I’ll do the selection of songs based on my experience or you can send me a song list that you like
Some couples send me a hundred songs list and some others just send me the “must play” and “Do not play” list
It doesn’t matter how well we do the planning, at the moment of truth reading the crowd is very important and if you want to keep the party going is always good to leave the DJ a little bit of room to improvise as well
So if you are planning to do your own list I suggest not spending much time in making it long, a few songs will give a very good clue of your tastes and also I can only play about twenty songs per hour so this will give you a good idea and as I said before keep some time for improvising, requests, etc.
Also keep in mind your guests, what they like to hear and dance. They are doing a great effort to assist to a destination wedding in terms of expenses and time so it is always nice to make sure they will spend a great time as well. Maybe you can tell them to send you a few song names they love to dance or letting me know their age range and from which cities are they coming from also will be very helpful.

A lot of people believe all DJ’s are the same but that is a huge misconception. When y go online you can find many DJ’s for just a couple hundred dollars and others for a thousand or more depending on the hours of service but like every service the same goes for DJ services; you get what you pay for. Here are some tips to help you to find one that has the more value and the best price
Your wedding is a lifetime experience, you only get one chance to walk down the aisle, and the high value DJ knows it. It is like an airplane pilot, there is simply no room for mistakes
A high value DJ has control of the tempo and mood of the room with his choices of songs and timing. Also, a true professional DJ will spend countless hours preparing for your event or wedding from the first time you’ve met, also have the talent to read the crowd and know how to keep the mood upbeat and positive.
Some other DJ’s will simply show up to your event and just play some random songs and sometimes they show up late or don’t even show up
Also consider that a Professional DJ spent thousands of dollars in equipment that will definitely make an impact in the sound quality an also is bringing back up equipment just in case
When choosing your DJ please remember that your wedding is a lifetime experience and you deserve the best.
